  I hate to even give them one star. We had a dryer that quit working. Called the appliance repair at Sears since we purchased it there. We had two technicians come out to "fix" the dryer but neither did. We still had to pay them. They ordered a part, that was on back order. After a month, we purchased a new dryer from Sherman's after Sears said they would refund the part. That was in December. It's now the end of Feb and I still can't find anyone to refund us. We have called several times (7) and they keep saying someone will call us within 48 hours. No one calls. Don't use them. Go to an appliance repair place like Argo's or Sherman's in Peoria. This is the worst case of "run around" that I've ever experienced. But I'm not giving up.

  Sears sent Mike out to do the yearly maintenance check on my water heater. He was polite, respectful and careful about my home. After he ran the check he asked about my appliances to make sure I had no other needs before he left. Also, he was on time. From making the appointment until he left, everything went smoothly and I am fully satisfied.
