  This type of knowledge and service is a rarity these days, especially considering we are in the “disposable electronics” era. This is a very reputable place to have your electronics looked at. Recently, I took in my Sony Bravia LCD TV to be looked at and Steve was extremely nice. He charged me a very reasonable rate for troubleshooting the problem (I was shocked at how little he charged me). He was very knowledgeable about electronics; you can tell he has been doing this for many years. In fact, after speaking with him I learned that he used to be an authorized Sony service dealer for over 25 years! The name of his shop is Economy TV, but I know that he also works on other equipment as well, and I would not be hesitant at all to take other things to him to look at. He is very honest and will tell you upfront if it is worth working on it or not, and what to expect when he does.
