  Dan Trifone is a con artist moonlighting as a general contractor. We hired Dan to remodel our 2nd floor of our home in Morton. Immediately after he began working we knew we were in trouble. Instead of purchasing new 2x4's to frame the 2nd floor walls. While we were at work Dan brought in wood that was torn out of an older home and had nail holes all in them. He framed our walls with someone else's old 2x4's. Not what we agreed upon or anything close to that. We later found out that he spent our money on a boat. That morning we caught him peeing on our car tire just as we were leaving to take my daughter to school.
